Signed, titled, and numbered in pencil.
This composition could be matted closer to the plate's contour. We have preferred matting it with space to spare at the top. It opens up the narrative of the negative space, and what lied beyond this worn pair of shoes. Perhaps it's a whole wide world or it's just a dank little attic room...
